UT Administrator Banwarilal Purohit releases a book, "Sharan Padhe ko Rakhe Ram", at the Raj Bhawan.

Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Banwarilal Purohit released a book titled “Sharan Padhe Ko Rakhe Ram” at Raj Bhawan here today.

The book has been written by Kewal Krishan Gupta, who retired from the Punjab Government service in 2003 after serving as the Superintending Engineer in the Water Supply and Sanitation Department. It is a collection of his personal memoirs distributed in 15 chapters.

Meanwhile, the Governor also unveiled a coffee table book titled “Sadda Sohna Punjab” authored by Punjab-based lawyer and nature artist Harpreet Sandhu, depicting the mesmerising nature locations of Punjab.

Purohit appreciated the efforts of Harpreet Sandhu for authoring this Coffee Table Book “Sadda Sohna Punjab” depicting serene nature of Punjab. After previewing the coffee table book, he said this initiative would definitely help nature lovers not only from Punjab but also from across the world to get closer to the nature, witness mesmerising locations, beautiful panoramic views of densely populated green forests and rich luxuriant rivers of the state as being portrayed in the book.
