Students of ALLEN Career Institute have once again proved their excellence in the JEE-Advanced 2020 result. Two students of the institution have made it to the top 10 ranks and 7 have made it to the top 20 ranks. All these students are from ALLEN's Classroom Course.

Sanjay Aggarwal takes over as president of PHDCCI

Sanjay Aggarwal, chairman and CEO of Paramount Cables Group, Pradeep Multani, chairman, Multani Pharmaceuticals Limited, and Saket Dalmia, managing director, PG Industry Limited, have taken over as president, senior vice-president and vice-president, respectively, of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) following the conclusion of its 115th annual session.

Skoda Auto has introduced the ‘Certified Pre-Owned’ programme with an exclusive range of hand-picked vehicles. Vehicles bought under the ‘Certified Pre-Owned’ programme will come with a manufacturer-backed warranty up to 24 months or 150,000 kilometres (whichever is earlier). Moreover, customers can trade in their Skoda and non-Skoda old car and be rewarded with attractive exchange bonuses.

Voxco Survey Software forays into Chandigarh

Canada-based Voxco Survey Software has opened its office in Chandigarh. It enables organisations to collect survey data through multiple channels that include web, offline, mobile, and phone surveys. “According to ESOMAR, an apex global body of market, social and opinion researchers, India is among the top 10 fastest growing market research markets in Asia Pacific and has a huge potential when it comes to demand for survey technology providers,” said Sumit Aneja, Voxco’s CEO.

LG donates Rs1 crore under ‘Kar Salaam’ CSR initiative

LG Electronics has signed an MoU with Kendriya Sainik Board. As part of its ‘Kar Salaam’ CSR initiative, LG has donated Rs 1 crore contribution to Armed Forces Flag Day Fund under Kendriya Sainik Board Secretariat, a nodal organisation of the Government of India, Ministry of Defence. The donation will be utilised for education of the girl child of martyrs and ex-servicemen.

Students of CLAT Possible shine in AILET, CLAT 2020

Classroom students of Clat Possible, Chandigarh, have secured all-India rank (AIR) 2, 55 and 73 in All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2020 and AIR 13, 65 and 78 in Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2020. These students have been selected in top colleges for undergraduate programmes in law at the National Law Universities. AILET/CLAT 2020 was conducted on September 26 and 28, respectively.
