Hartek Power bags PSPCL’s smart grid order


Hartek Group has bagged a smart grid order from the Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd (PSPCL) for the supply, installation and commissioning of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) relays at 55 substations in the upcoming Smart Cities of Ludhiana, Amritsar and Jalandhar. Group CMD Hartek Singh said the automated applications used under SCADA to detect faults and identify faulty equipment would not only reduce the need for manpower but also bring down the costs and ensure reliable and efficient power supply. Targeting consumers and SMBs who are looking for affordable printing solutions, Hewlett-Packard on Monday demonstrated the scale of its printer business. Rajkumar Rishi, senior director (Printing Systems), HP India, said: “Our new series of All-in-one printers and HP LaserJet Ultra are designed to meet the needs of small offices while extending the high-quality experience synonymous with HP’s LaserJet portfolio.” TNS

Gold extends gains, surges by Rs 225

Rising for the second day, gold prices surged by Rs 225 to Rs 29,950 per 10 grams at the bullion market on Monday on persistent buying by jewellers to meet the wedding season demand even as it weakened overseas. PTI
