HCL Tech Q2 net profit up 16.1% to Rs 2,560 cr

NEW DELHI: Software services major HCL Technologies on Tuesday posted a 16.1 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 2,540 crore for the September 2018 quarter.



New Delhi: Software services major HCL Technologies on Tuesday posted a 16.1 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 2,540 crore for the September 2018 quarter. The company had registered a net profit of Rs 2,188 crore in the year-ago period. Its revenue grew 19.5 per cent to Rs 14,861 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 12,434 crore in the September 2017 quarter. PTI

Firm withdraws report that gave clean chit to Kochhar   

New Delhi: Law firm Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas withdrew its 2016 report that had given a clean chit to former ICICI Bank chief executive Chanda Kochhar with regard to nepotism allegations against her, sources said. ICICI Bank on Tuesday said the clean chit given to Kochhar in March this year was based on the inquiry report of the law firm which is now saying that the same should no longer be treated as valid.
