Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], November 12: Dehradun felt like a real paradise spot for movie fans lately. The 10th Dehradun International Film Festival, held in 2025, took place at PVR Centrio Mall. It ran from November 7th to 9th. Filmmakers and actors came from all over India and even other countries. The festival beautifully portrayed Bollywood glamour with meaningful storytelling. Jashn Agnihotri caught a lot of eyes on the red carpet as the guest of the event. Jashn Agnihotri came as a special guest. Fans and media lauded her appearance. She talked warmly with people and looked great. Even with her fame picking up, she seemed pretty down-to-earth.

Sudipto Sen, director of The Kerala Story, was also seen as a guest at the event. Other guests included Ranvir Shorey, Mukesh Khanna and Inaamulhaq. Darshan Jariwala, Lilliput, and Jameel Khan were also in attendance at the event. The Cabinet Minister from Uttarakhand, Subodh Uniyal, also joined as a special guest.

Things kept going on November 8th with a session at Tulas University in Dehradun. Students and young folks who want to make films showed up ready to soak it in. They had talks with panels, classes led by professionals, and one-on-one advice. Other Industry people, along with Jashn, led those parts. The point was to connect what you learn in school with actual film work out there.

Jashn Agnihotri joined in because she thinks deeply about stories. She shared how she transitioned from a Delhi life to a Mumbai hustle. Persistence really shaped her way through the movie scene. She also sounds excited about one of her mini-series coming up for release on a renowned OTT platform soon.

At the 10th Diff, to celebrate her achievements, Jashn was also presented with a special award, along with other guests of honour. In the past, she has also been conferred with a special prize from the present CM of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami.

The Dehradun International Film Festival, organised by Mr Rajesh Sharma, has grown a lot over time. It is one of the top ones in North India now. About ten years back, it started small. Today, it combines regional films with mainstream blockbusters. At this Film Festival, the glamour of Bollywood, along with socially relevant themes, was showcased. Regional tales fit right in, too. That keeps it fun but also worth thinking about. The 2025 festival showcased Dehradun as a hub for creators and artists. Stars like Jashn Agnihotri add their own spark to events like this. In a way, it pulls art closer to everyday people.
