NHPC signs agreement with NLCIL for power trading

NHPC has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Neyveli Lignite Corporation of India Limited (NLCIL) in the area of power trading.



NHPC has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Neyveli Lignite Corporation of India Limited (NLCIL) in the area of power trading. NHPC will offer surplus power available with northern and north-eastern region to NLC India Limited, who in turn will offer the same to bulk consumers in the southern region of the country.

BHEL commissions 250 MW thermal power plant in Bihar

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has achieved yet another milestone by successfully commissioning a 250 MW coal-based thermal power plant in Bihar. The unit has been commissioned at the greenfield 4x250 MW Nabinagar Thermal Power Project, being set up by Bharatiya Rail Bijlee Company Limited, a joint venture of NTPC and Indian Railways. 

NFL presents interim dividend of Rs 39.95 cr for current fiscal

National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) has presented an interim dividend of Rs 39.95 crore to the Government of India for the year 2018-19.  Manoj Mishra, chairman and managing director, NFL, presented the interim dividend to Union Minister of Chemicals & Fertilizers DV Sadananda Gowda on February 19.

Poly Medicure Ltd., a Faridabad-based medical device manufacturing company with three manufacturing facilities in Faridabad, has been awarded the Indian Medical Devices Company of the Year by the Government of India. The award was presented by Union Chemical and Fertilizer Minister DV Sadanand Gowda to the company at a function held in Bengaluru recently. 

MMTC pays 30% dividend to government for 2017-18

MMTC chairman and managing director Ved Prakash recently presented a cheque for Rs 26.98 crore towards 30% dividend for the year 2017-18 to Union Minister of Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation Suresh Prabhu. MMTC’s turnover in 2017-18 increased by over 36% to Rs 15,757 crore as compared to Rs 11,593 crore during 2016-17.

IndiaPlast 2019 to start from February 28 in Greater Noida 

IndiaPlast 2019, being organised by the Plastics Machinery Manufacturers Association of India & Triune Exhibitors, will begin from February 28 at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida.
