NX India has been actively undertaking CSR activities aimed at improving educational environments, primarily in India’s rural areas. The Hindu Model Higher Primary School located in a rural area of Karnataka State in southern India has 101 students enrolled in first to seventh grades. Due to inadequate infrastructure, school lunches were previously served outdoors. This situation created discomfort for students, particularly during the rainy season and in hot summer months, as there was no sheltered dining space.

This donation aims to improve health conditions, enhance academic performance, prevent loss of concentration due to hunger and foster social skills through communal meals by enabling the students to consume nutritionally balanced lunches in a hygienic and comfortable environment. The newly constructed dining hall can accommodate 125 to 150 students simultaneously and has handwashing facilities. The construction of a toilet block has also significantly improved sanitary conditions. With these infrastructure improvements, the school anticipates an increase in student enrollment of approximately 15 percent to 20 percent in the coming years.

The handover ceremony was attended by NX India President P. Krishna Murthy, along with NX India staff members, school officials and residents. Attendees toured the completed facilities, received welcoming greetings from the children and celebrated the establishment of this new educational environment together as a community. President P. Krishna Murthy stated, "We expect that the new cafeteria and restroom facilities will help improve children’s health and learning. NX India will continue to support the enhancement of the region’s educational environment," conveying the significance of this initiative.

The NX Group will continue to connect people, businesses and communities, while fulfilling its responsibilities for social development and contributing to the realization of sustainable societies.
