Amritsar, April 30

Opposing the Punjab and Haryana High Court verdict on SIT report related to Kotkapura firing incident, Sikh Youth of Punjab, led by Paramjit Singh Mand, on Friday burnt copies of the judgment terming it political and flawed.

The call to burn the copies of the judgment was given by panthic groups led by former Akal Takht Jathedar Bhai Ranjit Singh. The Sikh youth gathered at Canal Chowk near Dal Khalsa office and raised slogans denouncing the judgement. They were carrying placards to convey the message that judiciary was biased and the government could not deliver justice to Sikhs in sacrilege related cases.
