Car taken away at gunpoint, two arrested



Bathinda, November 22

Five armed men took away a car at gunpoint near Neur village on the Wednesday. The car belonged to Ashok Kumar, a resident of Birla Mill Colony.

Ashok told the police that on November 20, Nagina took his car on rent. While returning from Maluka village, when they took a turn at Kalyan road, miscreants stopped the car by brandishing a gun. Later, they took away the car.

The police have arrested two miscreants, identified as Harpreet Singh of Kesar Singh Wala village and Manpreet Singh of Romana Ajit Singh village, while three are still absconding. — TNS
