The CBI today said it had recently arrested a person, Roorh Ram, for forging documents to get a Canadian visa in 1998 where he had been leading a comfortable.
On the CBI’s request, the Interpol had issued a Red Corner Notice (RCN) against Ram in 2009 in case relating to an immigration racket, officials said.
The racket was busted by the investigative agency in which it found that with the connivance of Preeti Ahluwalia Grover, Immigration Program Officer at the Canada High Commission, documents were being forged, the officials said, adding that she was booked by the agency.
