PANCHKULA: Children were the biggest power of the nation and if they got good education and moral values from the beginning, they could play a major role in the nation’s reform, said Dr Rakesh Gupta, Project Director of the Chief Minister’s Good Governance Programme.

Panchkula, January 15

Children were the biggest power of the nation and if they got good education and moral values from the beginning, they could play a major role in the nation’s reform, said Dr Rakesh Gupta, Project Director of the Chief Minister’s Good Governance Programme.

He said this while giving directions to the administrative officials and officers connected with the Education Department to make Panchkula an educational hub, at the Mini Secretariat here on Tuesday.

Dr Rakesh said teachers were nation-builders as children had full faith in them. He said teachers could only make children compete at the district, state and national levels. It was the responsibility of teachers to cooperate with children to bring them to that level where they should be at present, he added.
