No society or country can progress without quality education. This was stated by Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Rana KP Singh while inaugurating the Government Senior Secondary School, Majatri.

The school has been developed as a smart school under the Self-made Smart School Scheme. On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan was also present.

Rana KP Singh said the role of teachers and parents was very important in carving the future of a student. While parents need to give special attention to their child’s education, teachers should do their duty with commitment and sincerity. The speaker also congratulated Minister of Technical Education and Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Charanjit Singh Channi, for making the school smart.
