10 workers injured in reactor blast at Dera Bassi factory

DERA BASSI: Ten workers were injured, three of them seriously, after a reactor exploded in a chemical factory near Saidpura village, Dera Bassi, on Saturday.

Ten workers were injured, three of them seriously, after a reactor exploded in a chemical factory near Saidpura village, Dera Bassi, on Saturday.

As per reports, the blast occured around 3.30 pm when the workers were on duty.

The injured were rushed to the civil hospital, Dera Bassi, where the condition of three was stated to be critical.

An investigation is under way to ascertain the reason behind the blast.
