With 11 more cases, including one death, being reported from the city today, the Covid tally rose to 149.

Eight fresh cases were reported from Bapu Dham Colony. Seven of them are community contacts of a Covid patient. Besides, a two-year-old girl from the colony also tested positive. Her mother is a Covid patient. Two more from the same family were previously diagnosed with the disease.

A 35-year-old woman from Sector 27 has tested positive for the virus. She has eight household contacts and four community contacts.

A seven-year-old boy from Sector 40 too tested positive for Covid. He had visited the GMSH-16 and was given cough syrup previously. He was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday after his condition worsened. — TNS
