13 couples tie knot at mass marriage
Thirteen couples tied the knot at a mass marriage ceremony organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad here today. Mayor Harpreet Kaur Babla blessed the newlyweds and lauded the role of Bharat Vikas Parishad’s for organising the ceremony.
She emphasised the importance of such initiatives in fostering social welfare and easing the financial burden on families. “The event reflects the true spirit of togetherness and compassion, strengthening the bonds within our society,” the Mayor said.
The ceremony was attended by community leaders, dignitaries and well-wishers of the newlyweds. Each couple received gifts essential to help them begin their new journey, symbolising collective goodwill and support.
The Parishad extended its gratitude to all contributors and supporters, reaffirming its commitment to serving society through meaningful initiatives.
Mayor receives warm welcome in Ward 10
Residents of Ward No. 10, Sector 29, accorded a grand welcome to newly elected Mayor Harpreet Kaur Babla for assuming a new role.
