Ambala, August 24
A 19-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan at her house here today.
The deceased has been identified as Manjeet Kaur, a resident of Mohra village.
The girl was found hanging by her family members. She was rushed to a private hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.
The in-charge of the Mohra police station said: “The family informed us that she was upset due to academic reasons. She failed to clear board exams repeatedly. No suicide note was recovered.” — TNS
