2 more held in Panchkula dhaba assualt case

The police arrested two more absconding suspects in a brutal assault on a dhaba owner and his family in village Billa. The arrests brought the total to seven.

The suspects have been identified as Gurvinder Singh, alias Golu, and Gurpreet Singh, alias Guriya. Both were produced before a court and remanded to judicial custody. The weapons allegedly used in the attack have also been recovered.

A group of youths allegedly attacked a dhaba owner and his family members with swords, sticks and sharp weapons. A case was registered at Chandimandir Police Station under serious charges, including attempt to murder.

Two suspects, Krishan and Gaurav, were arrested. During the investigation, Virender Singh, Navneet Kumar and Vijay, alias Shakti, were apprehended and weapons used in the crime were recovered.

All accused are being prosecuted against under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act.
