200 students take part in painting contest

CHANDIGARH:The Chandigarh Traffic Police organised a painting competition for schoolchildren at Multipurpose Hall, Police Lines, Sector 26, as part of the Road Safety Week being observed from February 4 to 10.

Chandigarh, February 7 

The Chandigarh Traffic Police organised a painting competition for schoolchildren at Multipurpose Hall, Police Lines, Sector 26, as part of the Road Safety Week being observed from February 4 to 10. Around 200 students from government and private schools participated in the painting competition. The competition was held for students from Class VI to VIII  and from Class IX to XII. 

Chief guest Vasundhara Anand, wife of the SSP (Security and Traffic) and member of the Police Welfare Association, gave away the appreciation certificates. NCC cadets of GMSSS, Sector 23, were also honoured during the function. — TNS
