39 cars impounded from Manimajra motor market
The MC today conducted an enforcement drive in Sector 13, Manimajra, with special focus on the motor market area.
During the drive, a total of 39 illegally parked, abandoned, repaired and dumped vehicles were impounded. The action was taken to address long-standing complaints regarding traffic congestion, encroachment on public spaces and obstruction to smooth vehicular movement in the busy motor market.
The drive was carried out in coordination with the departments concerned and remained orderly and incident-free.
The MC reiterated that such enforcement drives were part of its commitment to maintain public order, improve urban mobility and enhance ease of living for residents. It appealed to vehicle owners and market operators to avoid illegal parking and dumping of vehicles on public land.
