Nearly 44 per cent of the grievances were redressed on the spot during public hearings conducted every Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the office of Chandigarh Deputy Commissioner (DC) in the past three months.

During these hearings, DC Nishant Kumar Yadav personally interacted with members of the general public and heard their grievances.

The compliance and status of the directions issued during the hearings are regularly monitored and followed up by the Complaints and Enquiry Branch of the DC Office to ensure that no grievance remains unattended.
