Chandigarh, December 13
A five-day training for the NSS programme officers started at the Institute for Development and Communication (IDC) here today.
More than 35 NSS programme officers from Chandigarh and Punjab are participating in the training. Prof Bikram Rana, state NSS officer, Prof Satyavir Malik, training co-coordinator at the IDC and Dr Jatinder Dahiya addressed the participants on the occasion.
The course will cover issues, including disaster management, gender justice, drug abuse, skill development and entrepreneurship, healthy youth healthy India, conflict resolutions and adolescent reproductive health.
The programme is implemented by the IDC and supported by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.
