KHARAR:As many as 7,870 children were given polio vaccine drops in the Kharar Municipal area by the Health Department in the past two days.

As many as 7,870 children were given polio vaccine drops in the Kharar Municipal area by the Health Department in the past two days.

Giving information about this, Dr Surinder Singh, Senior Medical Officer, Civil Hospital, Kharar, said 4,647 children were vaccinated on Sunday and 3,223 were given drops on Monday. 

He said this campaign would continue on Tuesday also and the staff of the Health Department would visit every house to give polio vaccine drops to the children.
