82 sensitive, 49 hypersensitive polling stations in Ambala dist

AMBALA:Ambala Deputy Commissioner Sharandeep Kaur today said there were 82 sensitive and 49 hypersensitive polling stations in Ambala district.

Ambala Deputy Commissioner Sharandeep Kaur today said there were 82 sensitive and 49 hypersensitive polling stations in Ambala district.

She said the administration had identified sensitive and hypersensitive polling stations and a close watch was being kept on these stations.

She directed the officials to keep visiting such stations regularly in their respective areas.

According to information, there are 19 sensitive and 11 hypersensitive polling stations in Naraingarh, 18 sensitive and 11 hypersensitive stations in Ambala Cantonment, 23 sensitive and 11 hypersensitive stations in Ambala City, while 22 sensitive and 16 hypersensitive stations in Mullana.

There are a total of 908 stations in Ambala in four Assembly constituencies of Ambala district. There are 211 polling stations in Naraingarh, 188 in Ambala Cantonment, 248 in Ambala City, and 261 in Mullana (reserved) constituency.

The DC said there were 8,04,317 voters, including 4,28,293 male and 3,76,024 female. The numbers of service voters are 3,611, of which 3,480 are male, 131 are female. — TNS
