BMW car catches fire in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, October 27

Three persons riding a BMW car had a narrow escape after the vehicle suddenly caught fire at the Sector 46/47 roundabout this afternoon.

The car occupants were on their way to Mohali when the incident took place. They immediately got out of the car and informed the Fire Department following which a fire engine was rushed to the spot.

The car was completely damaged before the fire was doused. The police also reached the spot and recorded the statements of the vehicle occupants. A daily diary report (DDR) has been lodged at the Sector 31 police station. — TNS
