Ajay Gupta was unanimously elected president of the Chandigarh Business Council (CBC) at a meeting of the governing committee today.

Addressing the media after the election, Gupta unveiled the council's roadmap for the trader community.

He said the council will raise the issues concerning the traders before the UT Administration and Centre.

As president, he said, his commitment will be to strengthen collaboration among our business community, promote innovation, support entrepreneurship and ensure that council becomes an even stronger voice for sustainable economic growth.

Gupta added that in the coming year the council will focus on creating meaningful opportunities for members, fostering partnerships, encouraging young entrepreneurs and building a business environment rooted in transparency, inclusivity and resilience.

Senior members of CBC, including Sat Pal Bansal, Neeraj Bajaj, Jagdish Arora, Sukhpal Singh, Chander Verma, Sat Pal Garg and prominent members, were present on the occasion.
