AKSIPS-125 Smart School

Kharar: A special assembly, dedicated to the life of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha, was organised for students of Class II. They displayed respect for the freedom fighter. Students presented rhymes and patriotic songs. The principal appreciated the efforts of the students and motivated them to love and respect the motherland.

Ashiana Public school

Chandigarh: A session on acupressure, colour therapy and magnet therapy was conducted for the faculty of Ashiana Public School, Sector 46, and Toddlers Ashiana, Sector 9. The facilitators explained the pressure points and use of seeds to increase the effect of therapies. Oracular therapy, which involves pressure points on ears, was demonstrated. Colour and magnet therapy, which can be self-administrated, was explained.

Kids R Kids School 

Chandigarh: A workshop on ‘Positive Parenting’ was held at Kids R Kids School, Sector 42-C. Dr Prabhjeet Kaur and Director Principal Anupam Grewal were the keynote speakers. They shared their views on how to look beyond the behaviour of a child and to connect more with them. They stressed upon the need to identify the qualities in each child and help them nurture it.

AKSIPS-65 smart school

Mohali: Keeping in sync with the ‘Buddy Programme’, the science faculty of the school organised a talk show on ‘Say no to drugs’ wherein awareness about the harmful effects of drugs was created.
