Anurag wins overall trophy in golf, Satish above-12 handicap

Thought-provoking Opinions, Expert Analysis, In-depth Insights and other Member Only BenefitsSatish Kumar won the men’s above-12 handicap category with a score of 29 (better back 9) during the Reddy, Azad and Cheema Memorial Pitch & Putt Golf Tournament, organised by the Chandigarh Golf Association (CGA) in the memory of association’s founder members CSR Reddy, Desh Prem Azad and Jagdeep Singh Cheema.
Justice Kuldip Singh claimed the second position with a score of 29, followed by Simran Grewal (30). In the women’s event, Harpreet Batth (30) won on the better back 9 over Mahira Sharma (30) and Saguna Jain (33), who claimed the third position. In the below-12 handicap event, Anurag Chopra (25), Anant Digvijay Singh (27) and MP Singh (30) claimed the top three positions, respectively, while in the women’s event, Bhavya Mann bagged the top position. A total of 53 participants took part in the tournament. The prize distribution ceremony was held at the CGA premises.
The overall trophy of the tournament was awarded to Anurag Chopra and was presented by RK Pachnanda, president, CGA. “Members of the Chandigarh Golf Association enjoyed the well-designed pitch & putt facilities and appreciated the smooth conduct of the tournament,” said Pachnanda.
