The sixth edition of the ‘Archibuild-2018’, being organised by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Indian Institute of Architects, was inaugurated at Himachal Bhawan, in Sector 28 here on Friday.
Davesh Moudgil, Mayor, Chandigarh, inaugurated the event, whose media partner is The Tribune.
Vikram Sehgal, Chairman, Chandigarh Committee, PHD Chamber, said the event was to showcase the latest innovation and techniques brought in the trade.
Mayor Davesh Moudgil appreciated the efforts of the chamber for bringing the conclave and exposition to a single platform. He urged the architects to design the buildings and structures in the wake of changing trends. Citing the examples of worldwide campaigns such, Moudgil urged residents to show responsibility towards the ‘Municipal Solid Waste Management’.
