CHANDIGARH: Tributes were paid to Assistant Professor Kuldeep Kumar, faculty member at PU Department of Physics who died on June 10, here on Tuesday.

Tributes were paid to Assistant Professor Kuldeep Kumar, faculty member at PU Department of Physics who died on June 10, here on Tuesday.

The Prof had passed away after a brief period of illness. He was 41. A two-minute silence was observed in the memory of the departed soul at the department.

He did his MSc from the PU’s Physics Department and PhD from SN Bose Centre, Kolkata.

He joined the Department of Physics in December 2005. His teachers, colleagues, friends recalled his contributions to the department during a condolence meeting organised at 11 am in the department.

Dr Kuldeep Kumar is survived by his parents, wife and two children.
