ATM guard electrocuted

Chandigarh, December 7

A 24-year-old ATM security guard was electrocuted at an ATM of IndusInd Bank in Sector 29 last night.

The victim has been identified as Anand, a native of West Bengal.

The police said the victim got electrocuted in a small room behind the ATM. “While leaving, the victim was pulling his bag from a box when he came in contact with a wire and got electrocuted,” the police said.

Sources said the incident came to light when another security guard reached around 10.30 pm for the night shift and found the victim lying unconscious. — TNS
