Chandigarh, November 27
A local court issued a bailable warrant against former Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal today. The case came up for hearing in the court of Tejpratap Singh Randhwa, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, today. The court in the direction noted that the bailable warrant issued against the accused was received back unexecuted with the report of not met. The same be issued for December 9, 2020, the court added.
The case was filed by Rajinder Pal Singh, spokesperson of Akhand Kirtani Jatha, against Badal for his alleged controversial statement describing the jatha as political face of a terrorist organisation. — TNS
