Bid to molest girl

Panchkula, June 18

The Pinjore police have booked a boy for trying to molest and threaten a girl at Chandigarh Bus Terminal in Sector 43 on Tuesday.

 In her complaint, Himani, a resident of Khadkuan village, Kalka, stated that she was going to appear for an MBA exam in Phase I, Mohali. She said after reaching the bus terminal, she crossed the road to take an auto for Phase I. She said Davinder, a resident of the same village asked her to sit on his motorcycle. She refused and the accused told her that he would kill her and forcibly tried to make her to sit on the bike, besides trying to molest her. A zero FIR has been regsitered and the case has been referred to the SSP, Chandigarh, for further investigation. — TNS
