Says police are unable to maintain law and order, DGP needs to be changed

Punjab BJP vice-president Subhash Sharma today slammed the AAP government, blaming it for a complete breakdown of law and order in the state.

Sharma said gangsters had no fear of police. “They kill people outside the Mohali SSP’s office. They are giving ‘salami’ by firing shots outside an AAP leader’s house in Phagwara. While CM Bhagwant Mann is busy touring Gujarat and Goa, gangsters are creating mayhem in the state,” he said. Addressing the media along with Mohali BJP chief Sanjeev Vashishth and Kharar BJP leader Ranjit Singh Gill, Sharma said, “If the police are unable to maintain law and order, the DGP needs to be changed.”
