The University of Fraser Valley (UFV), Canada, and Panjab University signed an MoU to launch a dual-degree programme in Bachelor of Business Administration.
The MoU was signed by PU Registrar YP Verma and UFV president and Vice-Chancellor James Mandigo in the presence of PU Vice-Chancellor Renu Vig.
The MoU provides for the establishment of a BBA dual degree programme at the University Institute of Applied Management Sciences, PU. Eligible students of PU will secure direct admission to the third year of the BBA programme at the UFV. Students enrolled in the integrated BBA-MBA programme at the PU will also have the option to complete the third and fourth year of the BBA degree at the UFV. On fulfilling the prescribed academic requirements, students will receive degrees from both institutions.
Earlier, the VC welcomed the delegation and described the collaboration as a major step towards expanding overseas learning pathways. She also suggested exploring academic engagement of the UFV with the PU’s Institute for Social Science Education and Research.
Under the partnership, students of PU will gain international academic exposure, access to global faculty and industry linkages in Canada and improved employability in international markets.
