Credence III concluded on a musical note with a ‘ghazal’ singing competition, Swaranjali, for Classes VI-XII; and Beyond the Voice, motivational/ inspirational duet for classes VI-XII. Rubinderjit Singh Brar, Director, Higher Education, Chandigarh, was the chief guest for the power-packed event which witnessed participation from 18 schools from across the tricity. Swaranjali was a melodious collection of soul-stirring ghazals and wonderful rendition by all participants left the audience spellbound. The winners were Ryan International School and Carmel Convent School; Gurukul Global School, Manimajra; and Bhawan Vidyalya, Chandigarh. Beyond the Voice, the western duet-singing competition, saw stellar performances by all schools. The winners were St. Stephen’s School, and Carmel Convent School; Banyan Tree School; and St. John’s High School. The overall trophy for best performance in all events went to St John’s High School, Chandigarh. The event was followed by a breathtaking bhangra performance by the host school. TNS
