CHA-42 lads win State Junior c’ship

Chandigarh Hockey Academy (CHA), Sector 42, defeated SGGS Club, Sector 26, to win Chandigarh State Junior Hockey Championship, concluded on Thursday. Harpreet successfully converted a penalty corner for SGGS in the 24th minute.

CHA cancelled it when Amritpal's (33rd) shot found the back of the net. Just four minute later, CHA lads claimed the lead through another field goal by Raman. SGGS netted the second goal in the 51st minute through the stick of Jaspreet. After playing 2-2 draw, CHA-42 lads won the title on penalties. — TNS
