Chandigarh and Kaithal shared a point each from their Pataudi Trophy match at Mahajan Cricket Grounds in Mani Majra, here, on Saturday after both sides failed to play out an entire inning due to rain.

The skipper faced 27 balls for his 10 runs before offering a return catch to Dhull.

Bali, though, continued with the onslaught and raced to his half-century. He eventually fell to Sandeep Kumar on 60 runs. His 24-ball stay in the middle was studded with six boundaries and five sixes.

Manu Jain and Ankit Kumar fell in quick succession as Chandigarh slumped to 73/4. Vikas Sangwan made 12 runs off 27 balls before he fell to Rohit Sharma.

Ankit Chaudhary and Shasya Jamwal then added 41 runs for the sixth wicket to take the total to 139 runs. Chaudhary was caught by Piyush Sharma off Rohit on 31 runs. Jamwal was the last wicket to fell, stumped by Piyush off AS Sandhu on 27.
