Wicketkeeper Abhishek Porel posted 106 off 84 balls, studded with 12 boundaries and two sixes, to overshadow a ton by Manan Vohra, as Bengal defeated Chandigarh by six wickets in a high scoring match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, in Rajkot today.

Chasing Chandigarh’s 319, the Bengal batters posted 320/4 in 48 overs. Earlier, Chandigarh skipper Vohra posted 122 off 127 balls, with nine boundaries and two sixes, to help the side achieve a respectable total in 49 overs. Sanyam Saini scored 67 runs off 54 balls, with six boundaries and four sixes, Arjun Azad 31, Arslan Khan 26 and Tushar Joshi 20.
