Chandigarh: A motorcyclist was injured after being hit by a car near the Sector 2/11 road. Sub-Inspector Kulwant Singh reported that a negligently driven car hit the motorcycle rider, identified as 38-year-old Ishwar Singh, a resident of Nayagaon. Ishwar Singh suffered injuries and was admitted to the PGI. A case has been registered at the Sector 3 police station. TNS

Man attacked at Kajheri

Chandigarh: A man has been assaulted at Kajheri village. The victim, Parmod, has lodged a complaint with the police. He has alleged that Sandeep, alias Sandy; Deepak Kalia, Deepak, alias Totia; and others assaulted him in front of a hotel in the city. A case has been registered at the Sector 36 police station and an investigation started.
