Chandigarh, June 5
Chandigarh reported seven COVID-19 cases on Friday, taking the union territory’s infection tally to 309.

Six of Friday’s seven cases came from Bapu Dham Colony---a coronavirus hotspot and containment area in the city. Two adults---a 35year-old woman and a 40-year-old man---and four children ages 3, 10, 10 and 14 tested positive for COVID-19
All six were contacts of already diagnosed cases.
The last case was a 57-year-old woman from Chandigarh’s Sector 21.
The city now has 31 active cases and has reported five deaths so far.
