Chandigarh, July 7

Chandigarh reports another death and five fresh COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, taking the UT's death toll to 7. The city's tally stands at 492.

An 80-year-old male from Sector 16 was admitted at NHE, PGIMER. He was kept on the ventilator. He was suffering from co-morbid conditions—chronic hypertension.

However, a 35-year-old female, 24-year-old male, 49-year-old female, 14-year-old female, and a 55-year-old male tested COVID-19 tested positive.  

Chandigarh reports 84 active cases. 

Recently, 21people, including three health workers, tested positive for the virus.
