Chandigarh team win titles in pachisi game championship
Chandigarh defeated Chhattisgarh 405-221 to win the gold medal in the mix-category, during the concluding day of the 2nd Junior and Senior National Pachisi Game Championship today. Haryana won third position by defeating Himachal Pradesh 426-227.
In the men’s senior category, Rajasthan won the title by recording a 273-255 win over Madhya Pradesh, and Haryana finished third by defeating Himachal Pradesh 375-223. Haryana won the senior women’s gold medal by defeating Madhya Pradesh 435-249 and the host team of Chandigarh claimed third position by defeating Himachal Pradesh 1,600-210. In the boys’ junior final, Chandigarh defeated Haryana 269-253.
The team of Haryana won the girls’ junior title by defeating Chandigarh 501-347. Chhattisgarh defeated Madhya Pradesh 362-331 to finish third. Chandigarh team won the third title by winning the boys’ sub-junior final. The local team defeated Madhya Pradesh by score 731-212. Himachal Pradesh finished third by recording a 265-213 win over Haryana.
Himachal Pradesh won the girls’ sub-junior event by defeating Haryana 360-292 and Chandigarh finished third by defeating Madhya Pradesh 294-205. A total of 24 teams from various states participated in the event.
