The Administration will also implement a 20 per cent quota for ex-Agniveers during direct recruitments. For this, UT Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria had given the approval, after which the Home Department had issued a notification. At the same time, the Administrator has instructed to implement this quota for the posts of jail warden to be announced soon. Apart from the Prison Department, 20 per cent posts in the Fire and Rescue Services and Forest and Wildlife Department will be reserved for ex-firemen. — TNS
