Chandigarh to form panel for archiving drawings



Chandigarh, November 12

The UT Administration will constitute a committee for archiving original drawings displayed at the Chandigarh Architecture Museum.

Presiding over the governing body meeting of Society for Tourism and Entertainment Promotion in Chandigarh (STEPS), UT Adviser Manoj Parida said the panel would be formed under the chairmanship of Director (Tourism), to coordinate with National Research Laboratory for Conservation of Cultural Property, Lucknow, for documentation of museum drawings.

The Principal Secretary Home-cum-Tourism, DGP, DC, Special Secretary (Tourism), Director (Tourism), Chief Architect, Director (Public Relation), UT, were also present at the meeting. — TNS
