Chandigarh University law student stabbed to death
4 students, including a woman, booked for murder
A 22-year-old student of Chandigarh University was stabbed to death, allegedly by a group of students, at a residential locality in Bhagomajra in the wee hours of Wednesday.
Aman Dahiya, a student of LLB and a native of Panipat, was stabbed to death on a road.
Three men and a woman have been booked in the case.
The victim was rushed to GMCH-32, where he died.
Sources said old enmity is said to be the reason behind the attack. One suspect has been arrested. Three others, including the main suspect, Ram, are absconding.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the main suspect had a grudge against Aman as he had passed on information regarding him in an earlier case. Cops said one of the suspects already has an FIR against him.
Kharar DSP Karan Sandhu said police are investigating all angles.
