Chandigarh witnesses 65 fresh Covid infections

Chandigarh: The city witnessed 65 fresh Covid cases on Thursday, taking the active caseload to 417. While there was no fresh fatality, 35 more patients recovered from the deadly disease. The virus has claimed 1,165 lives in the city so far. TNS

41 contract virus in Mohali district

Mohali: As many as 41 cases of Covid surfaced in the district in the past 24 hours, taking the tally to 96,507, while 34 patients recovered from the disease. No new death due to the virus was reported on Thursday. Of the 96,507 Covid cases reported from the district so far, 95,120 patients have been cured. There are now 237 active cases with 1,150 deaths in the district. TNS

39 more found infected in Panchkula

Panchkula: As many as 39 cases of Covid surfaced in the district in the past 24 hours, taking the tally to 44,808. No new death was reported. Of the 44,808 cases reported so far, 44,224 patients have been cured. There are now 169 active cases with 414 deaths in the district. TNS
