CHANDIGARH: The police today filed a chargesheet in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate against Jasjeet Singh, alias Bunny, son of a former Akali leader, Capt Kanwaljeet Singh, in a sexual harassment case.

The police today filed a chargesheet in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate against Jasjeet Singh, alias Bunny, son of a former Akali leader, Capt Kanwaljeet Singh, in a sexual harassment case.

A case under Sections 354 A (sexual harassment) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of the IPC was registered against Bunny at the Sector 4 police station on November 11, 2018.

According to the complaint, Bunny went to a salon in Sector 8 here in a drunken state and asked the receptionist for a head massage. While having a conversation with the receptionist, he touched her. As he was drunk, he was asked to leave the premises, but at this, he started abusing the staff and used vulgar language against them. Employees then called up their owner, but he also abused her and used foul language against her. On a complaint of a woman staffer, a case was registered against Bunny and he was taken to a hospital where the doctor confirmed that he was drunk. He was released on bail the same day.
