Panchkula, January 12

Members of the Sarv Karamchari Sangh, Haryana, and the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) today staged a protest outside the DC office in Sector 1 and submitted a memorandum to the official concerned in solidarity with farmers protesting the three farms laws and to press for the repeal of “anti-worker” labour codes.

The protesters gathered at Major Sandeep Sankhla Memorial in Sector 2 and then marched towards the DC office.

The protesters have also demanded a minimum wage of Rs 24,000, implementation of old pension scheme, end of privatisation of state-owned firms and filling of vacant posts, etc.
