City bowlers forced Uttarakhand batters to face follow-on, as the hosts trailed by 178 runs at Kaushki Ground during the ongoing Col CK Nayudu Trophy match.

Defending their first innings total of 528, the city bowlers restricted the hosts to 236 and later at 114/1 in their second innings, to still have a 178-run lead.

The Uttarakhand batters, after the first innings debacle, played sensibly and scored 114/1. Abhyuday (67 off 95 balls, with eight boundaries) and Harsh Rana (53 off 76 balls, with seven boundaries) helped the side to rebuild the innings. In their first innings, the hosts batter knelt down against Neel, who claimed four wickets.

Shashwat Dangwal remained the main scorer for the side, as he posted 87 off 149 balls, with seven boundaries and one six.

Aanjaneya Suryavanshi (39 off 30 balls, with seven boundaries and one six), Shubham (38 off 98 balls, with five boundaries) and Divij Digari (21) were the main scorers for the side. Neel accounted 4/46, while Harshit took 2/71 for the bowling side. Anmol Sharma and Devang Kaushik took one wicket each.
