Common centre set up for all Aadhaar-related services in Panchkula
Has been launched at the new building of the District Commissioner’s Office
Additional Deputy Commissioner Nisha Yadav today formally inaugurated the Aadhaar Centre operated by Common Services Centres (CSC) at the new building of the District Commissioner’s Office. With the opening of the centre, residents will now be able to access all major Aadhaar-related services, such as new enrolment, corrections, biometric updates and demographic updates conveniently at one place.
“Until now, Aadhaar services were available only at a limited number of locations, around five to six in the entire district, forcing residents to travel long distances. Even those visiting the district headquarters had been unable to avail these services for a long time,” Yadav said, adding that the new centre would resolve the issue and make the services easily accessible to all.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner further informed that the Aadhaar Centre has been set up on the second floor, Room No. 36, in the new Mini Secretariat building. The centre will provide services to citizens strictly at the government-prescribed charges.
